POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Assistant will assist the Production team with a wide variety of Production-related tasks ranging from running errands to running camera for shoots. In this crucial role that is essential for keeping all operations running smoothly, the PA will wear multiple hats on any given day.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Office Maintenance and Cleanliness
Maintain general cleanliness of the office, kitchen/breakroom, and conference rooms to promote an efficient and pleasant work environment for team members and guests. Manage basic repairs and maintenance projects around the office. Organize and clean storage areas.
Craft Services and Set Support
Stock and maintain craft services for the Production team as necessary. Assist Production team on set of various video projects as needed with set management tasks, including but not limited to preparing lights, cameras, props, and equipment for shoots. Offer basic technical production support on set, including but not limited to running teleprompter, focusing cameras, and printing/delivering documents and forms for shoots. Coordinate meals for the Production crew. Assist with the coordination of Production equipment rentals. Assist Production crew with set prep for shoots. Assist in arranging travel/lodging for crew when needed. Travel as needed to assist the Production crew on the road.
Media Management and Support
Pull and clip media for playback on podcasts. Archive podcast episodes (content, topics, segments, etc.). Assist editors on podcast deliverables by logging metadata for podcast episodes. Assist technicians and engineers in testing and researching new and alternate gear for production.
Errands and Logistics
Run off-site errands for the Production team.
Project Documentation
Complete and submit daily project logs in accordance with Bentkey Project Log Policy.
Other Duties as Assigned
Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Professional Experience
Previous professional Production Assistant experience preferred.
